Flu

I've been dealing with the flu, so been a little out of commission...but I thought I would post a few of the things I made this past fall...

 I don't make jewelry very much anymore--twisting and turning the metal hurts my hands more than it used to...but once in awhile I try something that's been on my mind for a bit...

These are simple little balsa wood boxes I got from a yard sale and painted with acrylics, then lightly varnished. So much of the material I use in my art has been repurposed, recycled or otherwise saved from being dumped in a landfil. That makes me feel good--like it's a completely conscious contribution to society.
