Sunday Calm

Lucky me...I made a wonderful score yesterday and acquired some 60+ VINTAGE National Geographic magazines in excellent condition. I stayed up way too late thumbing through, scanning articles and pictures--oh my what fabulous pictures they have, too.
I'm having run-on idea's of things to do with these once I've read all I want--collage dreams, and how!

I'm a lucky girl...but my poor baby, Bella, has a sick tummy today, so it's a good day to lay around and calmly read from my magazine pile.

...just playing around with some rejected art I've cut into strips and had in the "bookmark" pile...these few sections caught my eye so I glued them to a separate piece of heavy watercolor paper...not sure what else I'm going to do with them...maybe an outline in gold or a coordinated neutral...sand? Any thoughts?

  1. I wish you lived closer. I have some NG older than that and I can't find anyone to give them to.

  2. Thanks for the tip, Sherrie, I am still on such a learning curve as far as the technical aspects of blogging is concerned...I wish I lived closer, too! Actually, I wish I had a larger house (880 sf--tiny!) Do you have a Freecycle.org in your area? Or mayber try the "free" section on your local craigslist? I imagine folks would break your door down to get a few copies! Hope I did the email correctly! We'll see...
